Hi! I’m Bonnie McKeown.  I graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with endorsements in mathematics and English as a Second Language.  Since beginning teaching in 2016, I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, and I’m now blessed to be part of the ESS team at MCS.  Having grown up in the WMC community, I feel especially grateful to now serve in the same community that played such an important role in my own faith and life.

I have a passion for teaching, learning, and serving the Lord. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work in a Christian school where I can share my faith and encourage and guide students as they grow in their relationships with Christ. My Deep Hope is that each student develops a deep love for Christ and a heart to serve Him and others.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and our two children.  We love being outdoors in God’s creation whether that’s camping, going to the beach, or just simply playing in our backyard.
