Muskegon Christian School

In fifth and sixth grade, students begin enjoying the challenges, joys, and benefits of learning how to play an instrument as the teacher models, instructs, and encourages students. Students are expected to perform in 2 concerts as part of the curriculum.

Students learn to read music, study composition, and of course, sing! Every other year, students perform in an all school musical.  Fifth and sixth grades perform in a Christmas and Spring Choir concert as well.

Our Art program ensures that students from K-6 learn about the elements of art and principles of design in a variety of ways at age appropriate levels. Students get to experience 2D and 3D media such as clay, tempura paint, watercolor, oil pastels, paper collage, and more.
