2nd Grade Teacher

I absolutely love teaching and learning. There is nothing quite like seeing a student understand the love the Lord has for them or seeing them understand a concept for the first time. It brings me so much joy to spend my days learning with and from my students.

I graduated from Spring Arbor University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have had the incredible opportunity to be an educator for over 7 years. Throughout my time in education, I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, preschool, and served as an assistant principal. While I have loved all of the grades I have gotten to teach, 2nd grade is definitely one of my favorites and I am so grateful to get to teach 2nd grade at MCS. You can expect my classroom to be full of kids hard at work, filled with singing and laughter, and making lots of incredible memories. I am praying that all of my students would make big gains academically this year and that they would know how deeply loved they are by the Lord and that Jesus truly changes everything!

When I am not teaching, you can find me going for a run, spending time at church, going on walks with my family by the beach, and enjoying a hot cup of coffee with a sweet friend.

My Deep Hope is that you would know you are loved by God, find your worth in Him, and show his love to others as you love, learn, and lead for Christ.
