Hi!  I am Lindsey DeJonge, and I love to have fun, learn, and spend most days outside!  I especially love seeing children grow to be Jesus followers as they learn, love, and lead. I see Jesus on the move in the classrooms and hallways through the students and the teachers. MCS is truly a special community!

I have lived in the tri-cities area all my life, and I love West Michigan – particularly the summer and fall weather!  I went to Grand Haven Christian School (K-8) and continued to go to Western Michigan Christian High School. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation. That degree has enabled me to work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with mental illness, trauma, and loss and grief in a professional setting.

After having children, staying at home to raise and nurture my 3 children became my calling.  As they grew, I began to re-enter the workforce through youth ministries at our church.  When the opportunity came to work at MCS, I knew in my heart I was ready to pour into these students and continue to contribute to the legacy of MCS.
