Hi! My name is Kate and the students call me Miss Kate. My heart is full as I work with the children and it is a privilege to support them through the joys and challenges of the day. I especially love that we sing a lot together at MCS. I grew up in Indiana then headed to Michigan where I got a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Calvin College. I worked as a RN in mental health and school settings in Chicago before staying home with our little ones. My husband Joseph and I moved to Muskegon in 2020 with our two girls who are now in MCS preschool and Spanish immersion second grade. We are in awe of all the natural beauty of West Michigan and are grateful to be a part of this community!
