Mrs. Patience Hartley
Kindergarten Explorers Teacher
My name is Patience Hartley and I am so excited to be here at MCS! Teaching is one of my favorite things – and kids who are learning to love or at least enjoy learning are absolutely the people to be with!
I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Grace Christian University in Grand Rapids and hope to go back to school myself one day – I love to learn! I spent a year teaching in the 3’s Preschool room here at MCS, assisted Mrs. Rita Emma while student teaching, and did some long sub stints prior to being home full time for a few years while my kids were little – I am excited to be back in the classroom at MCS!
I love to hang out with my family – my husband & I have 3 kids, two girls and a boy, and love the beach & family game or movie nights! We spend lots of time with family, love to travel, but sleeping is also a favorite.
